Enough Already is a vivid neon sculpture inspired by Deborah Kass' 2006 painting from the feel good paintings for feel bad times series. Kass incorporates phrases from popular culture, movies, Broadway musicals, and Yiddish into her work, juxtaposing morsels from our collective psyche with iconic postwar imagery. Visually vibrant and captivating, her work belies a poignant anxiety about the political climate of our time, reflected in the mirror of popular culture and art history. It was featured in Paul Kasmin Gallery’s Sculpted Matter summer show and the 2012 ArtCrush charity auction, benefiting the Aspen Art Museum. More recently, it was included in the "Art for Hillary Auction."
Her work is found in the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Guggenheim Museum, the Jewish Museum and countless other public and private collections.
